Right off the bat, World Vapor says “All crappy electronic cigarettes need to go away.” They are pretty adamant about that and choose only to sell quality brands. San Diego is home to World Vapor. Their e cigs come from the United States via China, and the brands they sell are known around the world. Is this why they call themselves World Vapor?
Top Brands
Brands on sale here are South Beach Smoke, Premium, Eversmoke, and Green Smoke. At least, these are what they list, all excellent. I didn’t see a single Green Smoke item, however, even though there is a heading for their cartomizer refills. Some Eversmoke items were also missing in spite of filters telling you where to look.
Starter Sets from Three Solid Companies
World Vapor does not design kits with their brand label on them; they just pass along an assortment from other firms. Items include a Premium set for $34.95 in tobacco or menthol with one battery, a case, and two cartomizers. The same kit is listed at Premium E Cigs for $19.99 with a full five-pack of cartomizers and your choice of flavor and strength.
South Beach Smoke Bundles look the same and appear to cost the same until you read all the fine print. Their Deluxe Kit should contain 10 cartomizers, or at least it does on the home site. At World Vapor, it is the same set with one each of their regular and high-drain batteries, a charging set, but just 5 cartomizers for $59.99.
Eversmoke’s $49.99 equivalent comes in two flavors: tobacco or menthol. In every other way, this set is the same on both pages. World Vape doesn’t cut out anything except choice.
World Vapor lists a selection of bundles from these three top-selling American e cig brands but not all their kits. If you want more choice, head to brand sites. Do this anyway, even if you are thinking of shopping at World Vapor, just to check pricing and contents.
Fewer Cartomizers than Expected
In spite of what their page indicates, you can only buy South Beach Smoke and Premium cartomizers. Maybe the others are coming soon or sold out. Meanwhile, I had the reverse experience: cheaper cartos at WV as compared with South Beach Smoke prices. A box of 15 is priced $32.97: several dollars less than the brand page. Packaging was different, however, and I wonder: are they out of date?
Cartomizers by Premium E Cigs cost a little more: $12.97 for five vs. $12.50. Premium V2 cartos actually cost about $10. Again, packaging was different so I wonder if World Vapor is getting them from Premium and South Beach Smoke when they are near their sell-by date or if images are out-dated.
Ego Kits and More
World Vapor sells higher-powered cells and tanks but labels most of them “World Vapor” while also listing items under brand names like Joye. Which is correct? Probably, World Vapor ordered products from Joye but had them re-labeled.
They also carry the JoyeTech eVic: an original version sold here for just $57.99. Once more, there is some confusion. Two prices are listed not including the original, crossed-out price. I hope consumers pay careful attention to the amount at the checkout before committing to buy.
Kanger supplies the Protank III Dual Coil tank, the Unitank, and coils. WV charges $15.90 for either tank. They also carry a DCT 6-ml tan, ViVi Nova 3.5 ml (both $9.99), CE4 and CE6 T2 clearomizers.
Disposable Electronic Cigarettes
South Beach Smoke and Flavor Vapor disposables cost $8.99 each. South Beach Smoke only makes tobacco and menthol disposables so World Vapor passes those flavors along but Flavor Vapor one-time e cigs come in several varieties.
E Juice at World Vapor
Some of the items listed here were in the clearance section, so look out for a deal, but also a best-before date. Expect anything found here to be well-steeped.
Liqua Smoke is an Italian e liquid business but their standards pass SGS and USP ratings. No tobacco ingredients were used to make Liqua Smoke. Choose from 20+ flavors, 10 ml (0, 6, 12, 18, and 24 mg) or 30 ml (0, 6, and 24 mg) for $4.97 or $13.97, respectively.
AmeriBlends come in 9 flavors with a 60/40 propylene glycol/vegetable glycerin ratio, $3.97 for 10 ml and up to 36 mg. That’s great value and AmeriBlends is made in San Diego which is why World Vapor chose them.
Finding Accessories
World Vapor’s heading for accessories doesn’t lead to a vast array of items. Theirs is not a full-service shop with 10 types of e liquid, a big selection of house juice, loads of adapters and DIY products, or a variety of box mods and several mechanical mods. You could get a deal, especially with a $50+ order and free US shipping. You could get stitched on the starter kits.
At first I thought World Vapor might be run by affiliates simply marketing products for commission, but this is an e-commerce business. They could use a stronger sense of focus to make a deeper impact in this industry.
