Here is another compact, pen-style vaporizer set to compete with other miniature units priced under $100. This is an affordable option although possibly one of the sleekest ones around. Shiny black plus green accents are modern, youthful, and fetching. This is a versatile device for $80 if you like to vape different materials for different moods: e liquids, concentrates, and herbs. Take a closer look at the Rebel 3 in 1 Vaporizer.

Inside the Box

When you purchase the Rebel 3 in 1 Vaporizer online (prices at physical stores might be higher), you receive a tank for e liquids, one for dry herbs, and a third for using waxy materials. The base is a 350-mAh rechargeable battery. A USB charger and cord are supplied plus instructions which you are going to need: the internet is not full of information.

Tanks for the Rebel

The e liquid style of tank is a clearomizer and that is also what you use for waxes. A clearomizer contains an atomizer base inside of a clear tank so you can see your materials vaporizing. The herb chamber is covered.

Hold On

A Rebel 3 in 1 Vaporizer feels good in your hand: rounded and comfortable. That is as it should be, especially with a pen-type design. The heating element is supposed to vaporize, not supply dry hits or burnt vapor. It’s hard to believe you will never burn herbs with a cheap pen, but careful timing with your power button might be the key. Besides, the battery isn’t huge.

Pros and Cons

This is not an adjustable device. Press the button and wait. Puff when the heat seems right for you. Vapers might miss the ability to precisely control temperature and prevent burnt herbs, but waxes and e liquids will not burn.

The battery is very small at just 350 mAh, which is little better than a cigalike battery like the G6 or a Vapor4Life Titan. I have nothing against those cigalikes, but vapers are not looking for a mini e-cig here. They want a vaporizer and their expectations could be bigger.

Think “e cig” and you won’t be disappointed by the tiny unit arriving in the mail. A 350-mAh battery is accustomed to operating at lower temperatures than a vaporizer, so either it will supply cooler vapor for a longer-lasting charge or the charge will run out every 45 minutes or so.

When I compare this price to that of a Pro Series 3 by V2, however, I am pleasantly surprised. For one thing, the kit contains all three chambers whereas the Pro Series 3 does not. Secondly, the price is low compared with that kit when you think of what you have to add in order to create a full Pro Series 3-in-1 kit. Then again, the Pro Series 3 features a larger battery and magnetic technology. The Rebel does not.

A Rebel 3 in 1 is not unique-looking. The elliptical shape is fairly standard these days. I do, however, appreciate the uniformity of an all-black exterior finish and how glossy it appears. The compact size of this unit also allows vapers to puff stealthily and affordably.

Versatility, a small package, and sleek looks are all advantages, especially when added to the low price, but don’t make plans for a year in the future involving your current model: a device this inexpensive might not be around for your 2017 summer holiday.
