Vapor mods come in so many styles and sizes: boxes and tubes, strangely shaped, ergonomic boxes with metal or carbon fiber frames, 10-Watt to 200-Watt devices, and various switch profiles.
The Sigelei Spark is an unusual 90-Watt Temperature Control (TC) Mod.
The number stands out, as though randomly snatched from the air. How does Sigelei get people’s attention? They create a slight but effective anomaly. You haven’t bought a 90W device before now, but today is your lucky day.
Compact but not Cute
The Sigelei Spark measures just 83 mm x 23 mm x 36.9 mm, so it was never going to pack on wattage weight to 150W or more.

The wattage limit makes sense. Your range is actually 10 watts to 90 watts, so an option exists to set your vaping to lower output and higher ohms for those nights when you’re not feeling ambitious about vapor production. Don’t be fooled by its size into calling the Spark “cute”: it’s just compact. Cute mods are the ones that come in pink and light blue, not like this one in black or silver.
Temperature Control
Set wattage or temperature: it’s up to you, but you can only do one or the other. This vape mod’s control board (a tiny on-board computer) takes over to set the other value automatically. Select a temperature between 212 and 572 Fahrenheit. When you reach maximum temperature and are operating with an atomizer tank containing TC coils, you can drop resistance to 0.1 ohms and really make some clouds.
Light Frame
The Spark is not just small: it is light too. Sigelei chose a zinc alloy which is not as tough as stainless steel, but zinc alloy isn’t brick either. Inside you will find an empty shell: no battery. Customers have to supply an 18650 cell and remove it for recharging. Sigelei has not provided onboard charging with a USB port. All the small amount of room available on your device is taken up with controls, battery ventilation, and display.
Controls and Display
Mind you, the result is appealing. You don’t wind up with that strange robotic “face” you see on vaping devices with a port at the bottom and two small buttons side-by-side above it (a mouth and two eyes). The Spark’s on/off switch is a two-toned circular item (black and silver) like the sort of riveted button on a pair of jeans.
Plus/minus switches are arrows inside smaller circles. The rectangular display is uniquely divided into a grid: four large rectangles displaying values; a smaller one below them to show you the battery’s charge level. I like the neatness of this design and how easy it is to read and follow your mod’s performance.
Bad Battery Venting
I have one issue with the Sigelei Spark: venting location. They got the shape right with one rounded side opposite controls and the screen. This rounded side is also a door to the battery. The problem is that vents are placed here too: right where the palm of one’s hand should go. There are plenty of them, but that position doesn’t make a lot of sense. When Sigelei goes back to the drawing board for their Spark, V.2, vents should go somewhere else.
Tank Partner
When you are choosing an atomizer tank for your Spark, select an equally svelte option. The Horizon Arctic and Uwell Crown are slender sub-ohm tanks possessing qualities that do justice to Sigelei’s newest mod.

The sig sucks their wattage ratings are a lie 90w is really 80w same device as a damn IPVD3 come on sig give us a 240w triple 18650 device not these pos’s just another gimmick to make more money who the hell wants a 90w device like that’s so special haha I vape a .38Ohm build on a series around 175w on a full charge is what it puts out waste of money people’s time and R&D that could of went to something better I mean kangertech is coming out with better products than sig now
Not every vaper is a super cloud chasing maniac like you dude. Some of us prefer a nice simple satisfying hit that you can’t see from space.
