Some variable wattage mods are very box-like in shape and industrial looking; not high-tech at first glance. They contain high-tech material, however, hidden behind an approachable frame that just about anyone can operate with a bit of caution.
Do not imagine these are for use by novices. Consumers should not pick these up unless they understand how to manage wattage and the dangers of high temperature mods.
That is why the microchip inside each mod is so important: this is the brain and defense of Yihi’s little, powerful machine.
The Yihi SX Mini ML Class Mod
The new SX Mini ML Class by Yihi contains the Yihi chip which you find in many other Chinese mods as well. It is a reliable PCB. Everything else — including the stylish exterior — is just an added bonus. Your vaporizer can be as attractive as it is exceptional.
High-powered Mod
The Yihi SX Mini ML vape mod gives you up to 75 watts of power using just one battery. You can also bypass the regulator and use the Yihi SX Mini ML as a mechanical mod, achieving as much as 85 watts.
Voltage is 1V to 9.5V. It looks so small: a slender, ergonomic thing that fits in the palm of your hand, even a small hand. Don’t be surprised when the performance outstrips everything you expect from this lovely little machine by Yihi.
Optional Button Controls
Along one side you see several buttons and a screen. The top button is long and lightly rounded at the top to follow a rounded corner. Two very small buttons allow you to set wattage or change to joules/temperature control.
In between there is a narrow screen: quite small, but bright and crisp. Watch this screen carefully for signs that you need to recharge the cell and recharge using the USB port. Your single 18650 battery will regain its power while you continue to vape at the laptop using the charging cable.
Protection from the Inside
The Yihi SX Mini ML protects the user and his device by preventing unnecessary accidents. Possible problems include short circuit caused by low resistance, low voltage breakdown, and overheating. There is the temperature control component which adds another safety element. You can set a temperature from the outset and your device won’t go over that value, dropping wattage if required. Switch things around: choose wattage control and your device will select a safe temperature.
Three Coil Choices
You have to select the right coils for the job: stainless steel for high-quality variable wattage vaping, for example. They offer the best performance if you are not planning to adjust the temperature. Switch over to temperature control function, however, and you must switch coils in order to operate the device.
It can detect which material you are using. Select a Ni200 (high quality nickel) or Titanium coil and you can operate at very high temperature without having to select the highest wattage. Temperature-sensitive coils slowly rise to a given temperature and hold it almost effortlessly. Take some time to select a tank worthy of your Yihi vaporizer; something versatile.
Vape Mod Selection
Choose one of three colors for your mod: blue, black and silver, or black.
It’s an ergonomic mod, so it should feel comfortable in your hand. Fit any tank you like as long as it works with sub ohm coils. The 510 threading well makes almost any RTA or dripping atomizer compatible, but not just to the extent that it would function; it would look just right in this place. In particular, choose a suitable color (a stainless steel tank like the Phantom with a blue and silver version, for instance). Some tanks come with colored O-rings, so make sure they match your mod for optimum style plus function in one high-tech unit.
