The big news about Wismec’s new Reuleaux RX75 kit is not the variable temperature control or upgradable firmware. Wismec’s electronics are still stellar and you get good value for money, but the selling point is this mod’s structure and removable parts.
There is the atomizer, of course, which comes away, but more besides. Read further to learn about the surprising and fun features of Wismec’s RX75 mod kit.
Removable Covers
Usually, only the battery needs to be covered on a vape mod. It is the one part that should never be exposed. Vents have to remain open, but otherwise the cover stops batteries from coming lose or being damaged.
What else is there to remove? At Wismec, they got the idea to cover your control panel as well. That’s an option, anyway; to set up your system for variable temp or variable wattage vaping and cover the screen for a stealthier appearance, all in black, like Johnny Cash.
The back cover is magnetically and sturdily connected to protect your battery but also easy to take away when cells are out of power and require recharging. A USB port serves for updating firmware using the cable provided.
Removable Atomizer
This is a mod kit featuring Wismec’s Amor Mini atomizer. The Amor Mini holds a maximum of 2 ml of e juice, filled from the top under the black cap. A matching cap sits at the atomizer’s base and hosts the airflow control valve.
An RX75 is designed so that part of the mod reaches up to support the atomizer, forming a sort of console. The Amor Mini is best suited visually and dimensionally to the RX75 rather than another tank model, but the 510 connecting threads allow vapers to replace the Amor Mini if necessary.
Cutting a Fine Figure
It’s likely, though, that vapers will keep the kit as it is. The Amor Mini was made for the Wismec Reuleaux RX75, so they will function fruitfully together. Wismec doesn’t give away a lot of information on their site, but if customers go looking for replacement coils for the Mini, they discover there are two resistance levels available: 0.2 ohms and 0.5 ohms. They are made with organic cotton as well and cost between $10 and $15 for five pieces online.
Finding the Wismec Reuleaux RX75 Kit
Wismec launched their new bundle a little while ago, so it is still making its way to general retail shelves. You will probably find a version of this set in one of four colors at shops which have carried the Presa and regular-sized Amor atomizer or the Reuleaux 200W.
Four Colors
The profile of an RX75 is discrete and overall it’s a dark, black mod, but three of the four options come with accents. These are red, Tiffany (a shade of blue), and white. The other one is pure black all over. These highlights are so subtle they are more for the owner’s pleasure than anything else. The atomizer is black with a short glass tube, so Wismec seems to have discretion in mind.
Presa Kit
If the RX75 Kit is too large or bulky, try the Presa 40W, also available as a TC mod. This fits beautifully with the original Amor atomizer. An Amor 2.5-ml tank suits a silver Presa 40W especially well, its glass accents — including a glass mouthpiece — picking up the glint of silver nicely. The original Amor offers two resistance levels of 1 ohm and 0.5 ohms.
