Maybe you haven’t heard too much about Wismec, but you will soon.
This Chinese company has teamed up with the maker of the Tobh atomizer to create a Wismec-brand RDA, and Wismec is also the maker of a TC, mid-range box mod.
Here is what the company has to offer and who this mod is made for.
The Wismec Presa TC40W Mod
Do you like having the opportunity to set watts from very low to moderate output?
The Presa operates from 1 to 40 watts for a versatile performance through a whole range of cloud production and flavor experiences.
You could be using a standard iClear tank or a sub-ohm RTA with the Presa TC40W, although it would be wasted if you never experimented with the fun of temperature control vaping and sub-ohms.
This beauty in black or silver provides a sliding lock/unlock switch for safety. There is a firing button and switch for adjusting volts/watts/temperature. The screen gives a clear picture of what’s going on in terms of battery power, output, and temperature plus resistance. Battery power is 2300 mAh.

Odd Shape
The Wismec Presa is an unusual looking mod: not really a box at all. If you have ever seen a phone in a cradle (a whole generation of mod users probably hasn’t) then the Presa might make you think of that type of phone. The control portion is slightly smaller than the body and is inset leaving a ridge around the middle. Heat vents are located at the base of the panel.
Sub-ohm and Temperature Control
Although the maximum output for the Presa is 40 watts, its compatibility with temperature-sensitive titanium and nickel 200 coils gives this the capacity to create more heat than you might be expecting.
Since they heat up more without burning out, the coils retain heat longer and become hotter too to produce amazing vapor for such a low-powered mod (low-powered in comparison with 60W, 100W, and 150W mods).
Consumers can vape at as little as 0.05 ohms in TC mode before the internal chip says “enough is enough” and refuses to fire. In VW mode, the lowest atomizer resistance acceptable is 0.15 ohms.
Protecting Your Device
Wismec’s Presa TC40W is also protective. If your system overheats (above 70C) you will hear an alarm. You can also lock in base resistance for greater safety and consistency.
More from Wismec
As I mentioned briefly above, Wismec is working with the man who designed the Tobh atomizer: Jay-Bo. This designer wants to bring his products to a wider audience and to be more accessible to customers so he’s chosen to work with Wismec whom he regards as a big enough company to satisfy his aims.
Jay-Bo has designed an RDA known as the Bambino. This innovative atomizer measuring 22 mm wide and 19 mm tall is made from 303 stainless steel and can be wrapped in dual- or single-coil configuration.
The Bambino would be a great choice to pair with the Wismec Presa TC40W although it will also work nicely with higher-watt products. The vortex system in Jay-Bo’s top cap creates a flow of vapor that increases flavor intensity and vapor production. Customize flavor and draw using three airflow control holes.
