The new Smok X Cube II provides assorted high-tech elements vapers love from a brand they have come to trust. Don’t settle for a single-function mod when you can have much more.

SMOK X-Cube II 160W Basics

SMOK’s 160W X-Cube II is capable of variable wattage and variable temperature. It’s also seriously high-tech, featuring Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility. You say you would miss a mod screen? Don’t worry, you’ve got one on the X-Cube II as well.

Look up settings and tap in what you need using your phone or view the display on this flexible mod. The X-Cube’s full color display is mounted at the top and square, so it’s truly easy to read and sensibly oriented — you can see it as you puff.

Bluetooth Advantages

With the Bluetooth 4.0 connection for ISO 7.0+ or Android 4.3 devices, you can track your device. Do you tend to misplace it? Use your phone to find where you buried the X-Cube II under coats or bags of shopping.

This system also enables you to set up temperature control ahead of time so you don’t have long to wait for a coil to reach 600F and produce thick vapor. Do more than simply setting a value; track the way you use the vape mod too.

Adjustment buttons installed on the mod give you another option so you aren’t tied to your Smartphone all the time. Press two small, narrow buttons located next to the screen to select higher or lower temperature, watts, or volts.

Extended Variability

With the ability to vary temperature, variable voltage capacity fell by the wayside in many high-end designs. With the SMOK 160W X-Cube II you can choose wattage, voltage, or temperature. The highest voltage available is 8V.

Even set up the memory so you do not have to recall which setting gave you the excellent flavor you remember from last time. Thanks to all the options on SMOK’s mod, be versatile about coil builds too, choosing anything from 0.06 ohms to 3 ohms resistance.

Battery Power for the X-Cube II 160W

Two batteries are required to power SMOK’s vape mod, purchased separately. Secure them in place behind a magnetically sealed sliding door. Vent holes release hot air as a safety precaution. Replace spent batteries instead of waiting for the whole unit to recharge via USB, although USB charging is available.

Independent battery charging is quicker. That micro-port at the bottom allows consumers to connect with their computer for firmware upgrades too. Start up power by pressing the innovative on/off bar which forms one side of the device.

Protective PCB

SMOK’s chipset defends its host against assorted risks inherent in high-powered applications like this one. If you try to vape for more than 12 seconds at a time, it shuts off automatically. The chip defends electronics from low resistance coil builds (under 0.06 ohms) and a short circuit. You will also see a warning on the screen if the device is overheating or the battery is getting low on voltage.

Not So Tiny

While still compact and portable, the SMOK 160W X-Cube II isn’t the most diminutive of the box mods. It measures 100 x 60 x 24.5 mm. That’s a consequence of establishing more power, however, as two cells require a fair amount of space. While it looks heavy and is durable, a blend of stainless steel with zinc makes for a lightweight item in your bag or pocket.

Choosing an Atomizer

SMOK, like most of their counterparts, prefers the flexible 510 connection style. This enables vapers to choose an atomizer tank among their personal favorites as long as it is also organized for flexible mounting with most 510-threaded devices.

A SMOK TFV4 would partner nicely with the X-Cube II. It’s suitably versatile, providing a long list of pre-built coils for VW, VV, and TC vaping. A number of other tanks such as the Aspire Triton and UD Zephyrus would also provide quality and vaping flexibility to the owner of an X-Cube II.
