Sense has become known for their exceptional and popular Herakles line. It has gone through many changes, developing from a simple Variable Watt sub ohm RBA filled from the bottom and capable of 0.6-ohm vaping to a Temperature Control tank, RDA, and an RTA.

There are heavier, metallic versions and lighter ones with colorful O-rings. Now, Sense brings vapers their latest version, the Herakles Honor.

New Sense Herakles Honor Sub Ohm RBA

Here is what an honorably priced kit contains: the tank, a 1.8-ohm head already inside, a spare 0.6-ohm coil, plus an extra glass tube. An instruction booklet is also included because some people like to read instructions before messing with their new equipment. Others just open up the box and start unscrewing stuff.

What’s New at Sense?

Why is this not the Honor Tank as opposed to the Herakles Honor? Perhaps, given their intelligence and good sense, the company has chosen to associate this latest build with a firm favorite. The association is a good selling point in its own right. This newer tank, though, does feature upgrades.

For one thing, airflow has become more precise and customizable. Improvements draw air up into the e juice more fully to increase vapor production and pleasure. New coils are longer for greater contact between e juice and their heating element, again to produce bigger, thicker clouds and richer flavor.

The contact is also better so that electrical connectivity should be more consistent if that has been a problem in your vaping life before now. E juice flow is also adjustable, just one more way to personalize your experience with precision.

That 0.6-ohm coil mentioned above and the 1.8-ohm version are just two of several available heating elements for the Herakles Honor. These also include 0.2-ohm and 0.4-ohm products. While these coils are rated for Variable Wattage settings, there is also a 0.2-ohm Ni200 element available if you wish to use the Honor tank with Temp Control devices like the Lost Vape Therion 75W or an M80 by SMOK.

The highest wattage recommended for the Honor is 100W in VW mode, but there is no temperature limit on a Ni200 coil which is an efficient, energy-saving metal for the tech-savvy vaper.

Features of the Herakles Honor

Sense provides a slim tank measuring 22.3 mm and holding just 3 ml of e juice. An original would have been filled from the base because that is how things were done an age ago — maybe 2 years. That’s starting to feel like ancient history with the speed at which this industry races forward. Today, almost every sub ohm tank is filled by removing the top cap to keep everything simple and mess-free.

Top Construction

Sense has the intelligence to know you can’t make a high-watt, high-temp sub ohm tank using PC and a low-cost alloy. It has to be glass and steel. Threads and caps are made with stainless steel in order to provide the cleanest threading and an enduring profile that won’t rust or stick.

Pyrex glass is a reinforced material which is still inert like other glass so as not to release vapor or flavor into your e juice when it gets hot, but more durable than ordinary glass too. Be careful with it though; Sense provides an extra tube because even Pyrex will break if caps are over-tightened or the atomizer rolls and falls onto a hard floor.
