Vape mod vendors can say a lot of great things about the Sense Cyclone rebuildable tank atomizer.
They can talk about its long, lean profile or the build quality. They can proclaim how easy it is to fill and the flavor of e juice they enjoy when selecting this RTA.
The top feature of this new tank atomizer from Sense, though, is that it can handle 150W output. Not many RTAs can boast such a thing.
Sense, maker of the popular Herakles atomizer, is sure to become a big name in the industry now.
Powerful 150W Vaping
Sub-ohm vapers eagerly jump at every opportunity to increase their wattage and reduce resistance. When Sigelei launched their 150W TC mod, it might have seemed as though the only atomizer option was going to be an RDA, and a lot of vapers find these dripping atomizers inconvenient. They don’t want to constantly drip e juice and would rather sit back and relax with a tank. Atomizers like the Cyclone were made for these high-watt vapor chasers.
A Whirlwind of Features
So what else can we say about the Cyclone?
Getting to technical details, let’s start with construction. Sense opted for 100% stainless steel and Pyrex which are more or less standard materials in the making of advanced tanks. They have to be standard when people are vaping at high temperatures or else heat could release fumes from substandard materials.
Airflow control is also a given: you see it on every rebuildable atomizer because this greatly influences the nature of your draw and the flavor of e juice vapor. There are three airflow adjustment sections on the Cyclone.
Holes in the drip tip show that airflow is controlled in two directions. This is a practical feature given that vapor from a tank compatible with 150W output is going to be very hot. Cool it down before inhaling through the wide bore, stainless steel drip tip so you do not burn your lips and to really taste the flavor.
Top Fill Common Sense
Their top-fill tank is easy to keep topped up without turning it upside down which was one way to make a mess. No wonder so many companies are turning to the top-fill method. Leakage and spit-back have also been issues for customers but Sense claims to have conquered them with their new RTA.
Conductivity and Consistency
Copper is a highly conductive material, so when the center pin on your tank is made from this material, you can expect consistent performance. The Cyclone’s atomizer pin is indeed made from copper for a continuous connection with the vaporizer of your choice: a Sigelei 150W TC, SMY 60W, Innokin Disrupter: whatever you like.
Replacement Coils for the Sense Cyclone
Coils that come with the Cyclone are ready for 0.6 ohms resistance (built-in) and 0.2 (supplied with the kit). Temperature-sensitive coils will be available separately. With an RBA head, you can also build your own heads and choose the type of coil you want. The Sense Cyclone Sub-ohm tank comes with a replacement for the glass tube and costs around $35.
