What could be better than the affordability and reliability of Innokin paired with America’s Evolv DNA superior control and protection? I can’t think of many things except perhaps a kit with a mod and tank.
Customers get the best of both worlds here from two industry favorites. Check out the Innokin iTaste SD20 DNA Kit.
The SD20 Bundle
Try this set out for size: the SD20 with a T22 Prism tank, also by Innokin. Together their appearance is long and slim but dimensions are small. This is just a 20-watt mod after all, not some giant bulky 200-watt machine. The kit contains a USB cable plus the Prism T22, two replacements for SD20 face plates, and comes in black or silver.
Features of the SD20
Innokin’s iTaste SD20 is not a regulated box mod. Apart from the on and off button, there is no other control interface. You will achieve somewhere between 5W and 20W depending on battery voltage and the resistance of your coil. This Innokin mod will support as little as 0.5 ohms or up to 3 ohms, a range best suited to mouth-to-lung vapers overall. At the lower levels, you could manage direct-to-lung vaping too.
DNA Chip
Evolv’s DNA chipset permits the SD20 to reach 20W. It prevents the box from overheating or from the disastrous effects of a short circuit or low voltage. Evolv makes the world’s most reliable PCB, and considering they know what they’re doing at 200W, customers should feel easy in their minds about a mere 20W of output.
Face Plate
Every iTaste SD20 is decorated with a face plate or, more accurately, a skull plate. A pattern of raised skulls creates a gothic 3D impression around the metal frame including the two replacement panels. There is no battery panel because the 2000mAh cell is built-in. Skulls are a trendy design element these days in everything from shirts to electronics it would seem, so you could say Innokin is in the business of looking “cool.”
The T22 Tank
The average sub ohm tank measures 22mm across just like the T22. On the SD20 it sits nicely, not overlapping the narrow top edge where the threading well is perfectly suited to their union.
This Pyrex tank is manufactured with stainless steel bottom and top caps and contains the Innokin no-spill coil for easy swapping once your heating element has worn out. The tank holds a maximum of 4.5 ml at a time.
T22 coils are made with the purity of Japanese organic cotton and the drip tip comes off so you can clean or replace it, perhaps with a different style from the simple metal one seen on your tank as designed by Innokin.
With a maximum of just 20 watts, you don’t need to worry about replacing this part with an insulated mouthpiece; almost any material you prefer is fine. Dismantle the T22 occasionally so you can clean it from top to bottom and into every thread. This will ensure a long life for your affordable system.
More by Innokin
The iSub G or glass RBA is a hugely popular and effective tank, plus it’s a good standby for the T22. Try an Innokin Cool Fire IV for regulated power or the MVP Pro to set a classy example.
