Update: they are now available for purchase

Almost Double

The Cool Fire IV originally provided 40 watts of power and a 2000-mAh battery. Innokin’s Express Mod enabled you to flex your vaping muscle with 70 watts, thanks to a 3300-mAh battery and upgraded PCB.

The Innokin Cool Fire IV Storm Edition is an adaptation of the Express: visually similar and just as powerful with a maximum 70 watts available at 0.5W increments.

Curvy Mod, Star Wars Nod

Like the earlier Cool Fire IV Innokin’s newest offering takes on a shape with rounded, softened elements so it’s easy to hold in your hand. Get up close and personal with a Storm the way viewers have gotten closer to Storm Troopers in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The Express came in various colors, but if the Storm’s white base with black trim doesn’t make you think of a Storm Trooper, you’ve never seen those iconic movies.

Innokin Dimensions

This is not a galaxy far away or another dimension, so you know what to expect from the word “compact.” A Cool Fire IV Storm Edition dimensions are in keeping with what you have come to know about mods that can be carried in a shirt pocket discretely: slender with a short profile of just under 86 mm in this case.

Some Cool Features

Stainless steel 510 threading creates a smooth connection between mod and tank. You won’t start to notice the telltale signs of rust over time either. The Cool Fire IV Storm Edition also features an OLED display, showing users voltage, wattage, amps, ohms, and battery life.

Find the screen on the side opposite that rounded portion where your hand goes; next to firing and adjustment buttons. While the threading well is compatible with other tanks, they must be sub-ohm-capable. The mod won’t fire otherwise. Your OLED screen depicts details. The Cool Fire IV Storm Edition also recalls our final setting automatically.

Recharge with Innokin

The 3300-mAh battery is built into its mod frame, so you don’t have to fool around with a battery door. Just plug the Cool Fire IV Storm Edition into a laptop or some other handy USB port located nearby and let it recharge while you do something else like pick a new e juice or go to bed.

If it’s the middle of the day and you weren’t done vaping, keep going, thanks to a pass-through feature that lets you vape and charge simultaneously. If you recharge overnight, the battery is protected against over-charging. A bulb cycles through colors to indicate your battery level.

Protected from the Storm

Sometimes equipment malfunctions and it doesn’t take an epic celestial battle either. To prevent disaster, Innokin has built their mod with safeguards like automatic shut-off after 15 seconds of continuous vaping; low voltage warning (the red light); short-circuit protection (automatic shut-off); and atomizer protection against a reading less than 0.1 ohms resistance (the device won’t turn on).

The APEX

Buy the Cool Fire IV Plus Storm Edition Kit with an APEX Sub Ohm Tank from Innokin. Matching white caps and a black drip tip coordinate with their mod base. Each kit contains a USB charging cable, one replacement coil for the iSub, and a drip tip insulated with Delrin.

The Storm Edition tank completes an iconic picture of the dark side, only in white. Caps of stainless steel and a glass tank create strength plus clean vapor, plus 4.5 ml capacity. Airflow is adjustable and the APEX uses a no-mess coil swap system and Japanese organic cotton coils (included).
