There are a few big e cig corporations floating shares on the stock market and operating multiple brands of vaporizing devices. Vapor Corp is one of them and, like IVG (a competing corporation), they come from Florida. IVG is the owner of VaporFi, South Beach Smoke, Nutricig, and Eversmoke. Krave E Cig is a Vapor Corp company along with Smoke Fifty-One, Vapor X, and AlternaCig.

Krave E Cig Revew

This is an affordable brand of electronic cigarettes. Krave is a limited line featuring just the basics for mini cig vaping: regular batteries, cartomizers, disposables, and chargers. Krave does not make clearomizers or e liquid. The top price for anything on their list is $20.95, so this is the budget-minded shopper’s place to find e cigs.

King and Classic Products

With more information about their batteries, I would be able to distinguish between these two products fully so as to reveal why one is a Classic and the other is a King. My best guess is that the King is a high-drain battery and longer than the Classic which, in turn, would be a standard battery: perhaps 190 mAh vs. 240 mAh. Another guess is that threading differs between them. The Krave website mentions that Classic cartomizers are compatible with 1000 and 1001 devices.

King and Classic Rechargeable Starter Kits

Several e cig companies have opted to carry only tobacco and menthol-flavored cartomizers. Several other firms list flavored replacements but their starters come with only tobacco and/or menthol. Krave only sells these two flavors in cartomizer form too, for which they should be thanked.

One of the industry’s biggest problems, as far as detractors are concerned, is that the fruit and dessert flavors featured on many menus are attracting young people and non-smokers to vaping. If these same nay-sayers were to read what Krave has to offer, they could not easily make that argument. Where their kits and refills are the topic of conversation, Krave does not give in to the temptation to sell vanilla and chocolate refills.

A Classic kit comes with 1 battery, two refills, and a USB charger. It costs $10.95. The King rechargeable kit also features a single battery, two refills, and the USB charger but costs $20.95. Batteries have white LED tips while the clearomizer has a flexible tip. They are soft for your mouth and anyone seeing you puffing would know it’s not a real cigarette by the color of your light. A King kit comes with one each of the 1.8% menthol and tobacco cartomizers.

Price Comparison

As I said earlier, without a description of the battery it’s difficult to explain why there should be a $10 difference. Krave might be phasing out the Classic. The King format might be much bigger. From what we know of electronic cigarettes, $20.95 is a similar price to what other brands charge, but is still not cheap: vapers can start lower and receive a comparable product.

Refills

If you are still using the Classic, three refills cost $5.95. That’s a fair deal. You can also pick up packages of 5 King cartomizers for $10.95, also competitive. There is also the option to start with disposables. Try 1.4% or 1.8% nicotine.

Singles and Sets

A one-time cig from Krave in one of the two flavors mentioned above costs $6.95 while packages of 5 are priced $20.95. That works out to just over $4 each: an excellent price and worth your while if Krave is the brand for you. Without the option to buy a second battery or a portable charging case, you’re going to want a few disposables around for emergencies.

There is one other choice: flavored disposables sold in sets of two for $10.95 and containing 1.8% nicotine. Styles are Sour Apple, Great Grape, Wild Cherry, Very Vanilla, and Chocolate.

Chargers and Adapters

In place of this category I would have liked to see one entitled “accessories” featuring assorted charging cases, batteries, blanks, even a USB pass-through cigarette. Right now, though, Krave carries 4 items. The wall-to-USB charger or a car charging adapter costs $14.95. Buy the USB charger or wall charger for $12.95.

Krave Overall

I really miss being able to buy replacement batteries. At the very least, this section would give me the skinny on these slim mini cig batteries. How many milliamp hours are they likely to provide? How many hours do they last and how long do they require for charging? What are replacement costs? Surely customers don’t want to replace their USB every time they need a new battery, even though new refills come in handy. There is no indication of threading either so I can determine which other brands might be compatible with Krave e cigs.

Leaving aside what they do not have, I am pleased by pricing on this site. It’s great to see another business simplifying their role in the industry as others expand to the point where they are no longer recognizable as e cig companies. VaporFi, for instance, is now selling an eHookah, herbal products, and a box mod.

Their selection is considerable, especially as versions of some models are phased out and replaced by new ones. There’s nothing wrong with that, but customers searching for the antidote to overwhelming selection will find it at Krave E Cigs.
