The company formerly known as Mig Cigs has changed their name to reflect an expanded line of products.

Now that they carry vaporizers of all kinds (including herbal devices) the old name doesn’t fit.

Today you can call them Mig Vapor.

More Florida Competition

Mig Cigs is a Florida company bringing consumers a wide range of vaporizers for beginners, mid-range skills, and advanced knowledge of the field. Some items resemble VaporFi products closely or reflect influences from other sources.

Others (like the Mig 21) are similar to devices by 777 and others. There are few original ideas in the e cig world anymore. Consumers don’t need to worry about buying copies: they should just question the price and ensure their version of an ecig, eGo, or mod is well built.

Full Product Range

The catalogue at Mig Vapor shows most variety in the middle-to-upper area of expertise. Besides assorted mini cig starter kits, they carry an Aspire SR72, Mig 21 Cler Fusion, Phantom X, Stinger, X-5, and mods.

Their mods are the Neo, Morpheus, and Z Stick Bubble. Mig Vapor also carries cartridges for e cigs and e liquid for tanks. As you can see, VaporFi’s lienup and the one here are similarly well-rounded.

Mig 21 Clear Fusion

Choose one of the starter kits in this section to save some money and own a good little performer. It’s like a long, slender mini cig but with a clear tank on top. You should fill the tank with standard Mig Vapor e juice containing 80% propylene glycol or something similar that won’t clog the basic coils.

Stinger

The number represents battery power or 1600 mAh. A Stinger resembles the Pro by VaporFi or the Kanger EVOD in size and shape but outweighs both of them power wise. This is also the best selling vaporizer at Mig Vapor. Their Junior Kit costs $69.95, providing e juice, chargers, and a case. The nicest kit in this category is the Special Edition, a beautiful item to give with a gift because of the wood box it comes with.

X-5

Purchase the basic 1300 mAh e cig or upgrade to a twist. Choose black, rainbow, or stainless steel and pay $59.95. You also receive 30 ml of e juice and a tank.

Phantom 1600

Now you are really getting fancy with 1600 mAh battery power and a variable watt twist mechanism at the bottom. Version 2 of the Phantom UFO comes with chargers and e juice. Mig Vapor touts this as a durable item.

Mods by Mig Vapor

The Neo is possibly the most intimidating Mig Vapor mod at first glance since it is truly box-shaped with a hexagonal pattern in blue or green across the face of black metal. Right now there is a sale on: $100 for the Neo wit 0.2-ohm and 0.4-ohm coils and Ni200 coils for temperature control vaping as well.

Shift your gaze to the oddly-shaped Z Bubble with 40 watts of power and an eGo adapter. It uses 1.5-ohm and 1.2-ohm coils (included) but will also operate at as low as 0.5 ohms. Priced similarly to the Neo, this one only provides 2200 mAh of battery power. It’s straight on one side, curved on the other, but the curve is where controls are. I don’t think that’s the best design choice.

Instead, I would choose the tube-shaped Morpheus providing up to 100 watts and capable of firing atomizers to a low of 0.2 ohms. If Mig Vapor’s Morpheus reminds you of the Aspire CF, that is because they are virtually the same thing. This mod is made from carbon fiber and stainless steel.

Mig Vapor also carries a big selection of tanks to go with their products and replacement coils too.

E Liquid at Mig Vapor

Visit the physical Mig Vapor store and mix your own e juice at the Vimanno Juice Bar. Here you can have fun and blend e juice flavors. Otherwise, peruse a list of pre-mixed varieties which includes sub ohm liquids and standard e juice for simple setups (Standard e juice).

Premium e liquid costs $16.95 for 30 ml. Add $2 per bottle for 30 ml of Red Line (80% vegetable glycerin). Your flavor choices include Dragon’s Blood Cheesecake with Cream, Fruity Loops, Caribbean Freeze, and Strawberries and Cream.

Experiment with Baked Blueberry Custard and Tiger Tears (blueberry, pomegranate, and cherry). So far you have only seen a menu of sweet and luscious flavors, but there are simpler styles on the menu too.

Assessing the New Mig Vapor

Has a lot been altered at Mig Cigs besides the name?

Gradually, Mig Cigs improved their website, so it became more sophisticated. They added equipment every so often but their products tend to be overshadowed by bigger brands.

Today’s website displays youthful images whereas the original had the look of a TV offer for 30-somethings and lacked the flare of their new site. The addition of herbal products was a solid move: if you can’t beat VaporFi, it is best to at least keep up.

Where is someone going to go shopping for a vaporizer if they are sold out at VaporFi? They might wind up here.

Pricing is not always the cheapest out there, but that is because this is a US based firm with their own branded products. If I had to hold Mig Vapor against VaporFi on the basis of price alone, I would say Mig Vapor sometimes wins, sometimes loses, but is pretty competitive in general.

Mig Vapor also makes the site more personal with a picture of their customer support staff (they look genuine, not like images taken from the internet) and multiple ways to get in touch. Call, email, or take part in a live chat. Visit Mig Vapor on social media and get to know them even better. VaporFi might be shiny and cool, but Mig Cigs is down to earth and approachable.
