Subtle changes to the Innokin Disrupter create an aesthetically and ergonomically interesting vape mod by the makers of the SD 20, iTaste MVP, and the Cool Fire IV. The Disrupter is now curved if you like that sort of thing and want to upgrade to the TC75W format, but that curvy part is still just one half of your mod.
Two Halves Make a Whole
The Innokin Disrupter was not made to stand alone. It was designed to work with the Innokin Cell, their special battery which forms the second half of this mod.
Originally, the Disrupter supplied from 6 to 50 watts of power or 3V to 7V. It supported 0.2 ohms resistance and the Innokin Cell was capable of 2000mAh. You could get lots of colors of cell to go with a black or stainless steel Disrupter and therefore create a monochromatic look or color contrast.
Both parts were pillars which, when joined together, formed a small rectangle with the control interface on one narrow side. That included all three buttons and the screen. Original Disrupters are still available.
Version Two: The Innokin Disrupter TC75W Curve
First of all, the output rating improved with the latest design. Now you can set watts 50% higher. Also, that higher wattage enables the Innokin Disrupter TC75W Curve to achieve a temperature setting of your choosing quickly.
Variable temperature was not a feature of the original Disrupter but vapers will find this is a more efficient way to vape. Install an atomizer tank which is compatible with temperature sensitive Nickel 200 coils or alternatives; stainless steel and titanium.
There are two battery sizes: 2000mAh and 3300mAh, both of them capable of a quick change using the Slide ‘n’ Lock system which provides that much needed second half to a small vaporizer. The finished product is still light and small, but the look and feel are adapted.
Easy and Ergonomic
Instead of straight angles all the way around, Innokin shook up the original, modern, and clean design. They chose to add an ergonomic element by curving the portion of this box mod. Presumably, one holds the mod from this side and uses a thumb to press “power.” A rounded side will feel better in the palm of your hand than a straight, if softened, edge.
Interesting Interface
To facilitate this change, Innokin moved their interface to the front of the mod. Although the power button remains in its original place high on one side, a screen and two adjustment switches are front-mounted where you won’t accidentally press one.
Although the power switch is a long oval, two small adjustment buttons take their places above a tall display screen. This enables you to clearly read how your battery is doing: does it need a charge yet? What about resistance: is this at the level you expected? How is wattage keeping up with the setting you chose?
Safe Battery
Innokin’s goal when they devised the plan for their Innokin Cell battery was to make vaping safer. At the time the mod was originally released, there was a lot of controversy about battery safety. Innokin replaced the Lithium Ion cell most favored back then with Lithium Polymer.
They made a safer cell and this battery can be recharged using a USB cable. The original size is impressive at 2000mAh but you can now select 3300mAh as an alternative if you like.
USB Port
You might have seen a mod with a small port built into the interface and wondered what that was. Seeing this, a vaper knows he can plug his mod directly into a USB recharging station rather than removing the cell. It might also be possible to upgrade firmware or the controls from an interior chip, enabling the device to achieve higher output values or increasing safeguards.
With the USB port on this Innokin Disrupter Curve TC75W, vapers can recharge the cell and still use their mod. You need to be located somewhere with a USB plug-in spot and the spot should be convenient for vaping.
