JoyeTech has just released their newest atomizer: the Tron. I’m not sure the design will make a person automatically think of the Disney movie with Garret Hedlund and Jeff Bridges.
The shape of a Tron atomizer might call to mind Transformers movies instead: who knows?
What JoyeTech’s new product does, ultimately, is change the shape and style of atomizers as you have come to recognize them.
What appears to be a high-tech toy is nothing of the sort. This is top tech for advanced users.
Transparency
Most sub-ohm atomizer tanks are transparent. There’s a cap at the top, one at the bottom, and a glass tube.
Sometimes this is covered in metal, perhaps stylized Stainless Steel, or there might be only a series of narrow windows showing the tank and its contents. If the metal portions are not silver (uncovered stainless steel) they are black coated stainless steel in most cases, with a few exceptions. The eGo One for example features tanks in multiple colors.
Cover Up
The Tron, however, is a colored tank. Your six options are black, grey, red, gold, cyan, and white.
Cyan is a bit like turquoise but more green than blue. Every part of the tank is covered in this color except an oddly shaped side window (Tron-S) or a top-view option (Tron-T). The strange side window is a four-sided shape like a window in a mask: more Power Rangers than Tron.
Measurements
JoyeTech’s new atomizer measures 22 mm x 56.6 mm and holds 4 ml of liquid. Airflow control is hidden beneath the bottom cap. Silicon rings come in four colors, so you can mix and match them with the tank: green, black, red, or white.
Choose an eGo One CL-Ni head or the CL-Ti head for super-low sub-ohm resistance on a temperature control mod: preferably the VTC Mini. In VW or Bypass mode apply the CL 1-ohm or 0.5-ohm head or the CLR. In VT mode select Nickel or Titanium rated to 0.2, 0.25, or 0.45 ohms or the CLR head.
Complementary Atomizer
This attractive new atomizer was designed with the eVic VTC Mini and they look beautiful together; like a tiny android. Even the narrow drip tip attached to your top cap looks slick in this context, not like some weird pointy hat.
Such attractive features are sure to get more attention than the fact that this atomizer handles as little as 0.05 ohms and 75W vaping. Looks aren’t everything after all. This is a new release and the Tron is slated to become part of a kit. Some might say the Tron has been timed perfectly for Christmas so big boys have something to look forward to.
