Ohm Nation and Tobeco bring you this affordable sub ohm tank, useful if you operate a high-output system up to 100 watts. It’s the Tobeco Super Tank.

What Is It Made from?

The Tobeco Super Tank is constructed from stainless steel and aluminum with a Pyrex glass tube. Glass is a must with high-watt, high-temperature systems as the heat could potentially release toxins into your e juice and taint the flavor as well as its purity if lesser materials were used.

They might warp too and acidic e juices might cloud them. If you’ve reached the point where you’re vaping at 100 watts, you shouldn’t have to think about tank-cracking vapor juice anymore. That seems so petty at the highest level of vaping.

Stainless steel is the best material for caps as it gives meaning to the term “hardware.” Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, won`t succumb to high temperatures, but it’s heavy. Aluminum is lighter but if the grade used by Tobeco and Ohm Nation is sufficiently durable, aluminum in this case is almost as effective as stainless steel for preventing rust.

Big Tank

Tobeco’s Super Tank is a super size at 4.5 ml. That’s large when you’re dealing with the top-fill system. Why do you need so much room? You don’t actually. Just keep dripping e juice in through the top after filling to capacity as soon as your vaping day begins.

Wide Flow

This large sub ohm tank features a wide cyclops-style airflow inlet to allow lots of air into your vapor, although the valve can also be shut down to cut out air intake. The Delrin mouthpiece is also a decent width so that you can create lots of vapor, but this removable part can be replaced by an even wider or more stylized 510 example.

You probably caught the fact this is a Delrin tip; that is, the inside features insulation to stop vapor from heating the mouthpiece externally where it would burn your lips. The outside is super-hygienic stainless steel.

Replacing Coils

The Tobeco Super Tank uses 0.2 ohms, 0.5 ohms, and Ni-200 coils, made specifically for this tank. It will also work with Atlantis coils which are rated 0.3, 0.5, and 1.0 ohm. That provides a range of unlimited temperature but up to around 70W from an advanced mod like the eVic VTC by JoyeTech or the Innokin Cool Fire IV Plus.

Style of the Tobeco Super Tank

Each version of the Super Tank is stainless but there is the potential to achieve a two-toned look by overlooking the single-colored option and choosing black, blue, or gold accents. These add flare to your tank and to any system with complementary colors like the Limited Edition Gold Innokin iTaste MVP Pro or a blue iStick by Eleaf in one of various sizes. The blue Super Tank would also look excellent on top of the iPV5 by Pioneer4You and the price is right to own more than one; a different color for each of your mods.

Other Options from Tobeco

This company from Shenzhen, known for their clones of popular RBAs and RDAs, also makes a Mini Super Tank. The primary visual difference is that it removes that stainless steel tip in favor of a synthetic but safe variety, again preventing burns. At their website, Tobeco indicates that Sense Herakles coils are also compatible with the Super Tank Mini.
