You say you have not heard of Laisimo? The company is not a big name for you, what with Smok and Joye getting all the attention?
You are not alone. Laisimo’s iPower 70W TC vape mod will have its work cut out grabbing some of the limelight from Innokin with their Cool Fire IV Plus and the Joye eVic VT, etc.
Thanks to Sigelei, Smok, Eleaf, and Pioneer4You (among others) the industry is packed with competition. It is always a shame when the catalogue becomes predictable and dull.
Laisimo iPOWER 70W TC Vape Mod
This $60 machine provides up to 70 watts of vaporizer output, but you already knew that. It’s a temperature control (TC) mod: you knew that too, thanks to the descriptive name. What you did not know is that this device can give competition a run for its money and with its reasonable price tag could also help to bring some prices down (even though it is amazing what you get for $60). Let’s take a closer look.

Specifications of the Laisimo iPOWER 70W TC
Set your reading from between 5 watts and 70 watts at the highest. Remember that the key to effective and responsible use of power is to not wield it at its fullest all the time. You will really enjoy a high-output experience after hours or even days of lower wattage and higher resistance. Exchange them: go higher and lower just occasionally to get a true sense of why you wanted to learn to operate a 70-watt mod in the first place.
Variable Wattage and Temperature Control
Use the iPOWER by Laisimo in either setting: it is good for 662F or 350C. That seems a little high. The usual top note is about 572F or 600F at most. Is this a sign that the iPOWER is unsafe or that the company is pushing limits? Time will tell.
Powering the iPOWER
Laisimo employs an 18650 battery to do the job, but it is not included in the box. Open the slide-lock compartment to remove or replace your cell. Buy two of them separately to ensure one is charged and ready. Another recharging option is to plug the mod into a USB charger using the little port along one side which is located under buttons and screen as usual, on the opposite side to the rounded portion you would hold.
Colors and Contrasts
Most of the color choices feature a contrasting panel in silver: red, black, blue, and gold.
The silver model is monochromatic. Many vapers love a touch of color and other vapers don’t care: all they want is a well-built mod that allows them to blow big clouds of vapor, even competition-level clouds. Laisimo supplies the goods.
Attach an Atty
Select your atomizer from a long selection of sub ohm tanks, RTAs, and RDAs but note that your selection of color might lead you towards a particular style to maintain aesthetic unity. There are the O-rings and top/bottom caps of certain sub ohm tanks to consider like the Smoktech TFV4 and Kanger Subtank. If they are not the same shade as your vaporizer (or at least a complementary one) a tank’s caps or O-rings, they might appear out of place to the discerning eye.
The 510 spring-loaded threading well allows vapers to choose virtually any tank from a technical perspective. Read atomizer resistance on your OLED screen to be sure your build is what you think it is.
Lightweight Frame
Stainless steel encases many mods but is heavy. Aluminum and zinc alloys are more prone to wear and corrosion but are lighter. Laisimo went for a light build you can carry around without feeling weighed down by your vaping technology.
