Sometimes it is the simple things in life which consumers find most impressive. Mod makers are so busy outdoing each other that it’s refreshing to see the modest approach manifested in the form of a sub-ohm tank, even if external modesty belies high-tech features. The Tesla Vortek TC Sub Tank is not a show-off; yet, it can offer a lot of things to the advanced vaper which the usual glassomizer can’t.

Tesla Vortek for Temperature Control Mods

You might have noticed that “TC” is in the long name of this Tesla tank. Tesla’s new Rebuildable Tank Atomizer was designed with the temperature control trend in mind.

The Innokin Disrupter just came out. Joyetech released a new eVic this year with temperature control. Numerous devices are being installed with TC chips which limit temperature to 600F, so it only stands to reason that tanks would be built to complement such items.

Rebuildable Tank Features

This new tank is sent to the purchaser with pre-built coils: 0.2 and 0.5 ohms. They’re designed for use with machines of up to 80W and use traditional Kanthal wire made in the US.

Another option is the TC Sub Coil utilizing temperature-sensitive Ni200 coil. Made from high-purity nickel, this option is the only choice for TC mods which can detect temperature-sensitive coils vs. ordinary ones. If you don’t use Ni200, the system will only operate in VW or VV mode, not TC format.

More Specs

This is a massive tank holding up to 7 ml of e liquid. The drip tip is also large with an internal diameter of 12 mm whereas the Aspire Triton measures 11 mm. Three holes have been created to adjust juice flow depending on your choice of wattage. The small hole is for 30 watts. Use the medium hole when vaping at 50 watts. Finally, the largest hole is for more juice flow on an 80W system like the SMOK M80 Plus.

Use the adjustable center pin inside your threading well to accommodate a variety of mods made by Tesla, SMOK, Joyetech, Innokin, and others. Virtually every 510-threaded mod is compatible with the Tesla Vortek TC RTA.

Buy Quality

Tesla is well-known for producing mods of superior build quality and ease-of-use. Their prices are competitive and the name is reliable. If their Vortek is anything like the adjustable vaporizers they sell, it is a great buy. Find the Vortek listed with subtanks like the Aspire Triton and Atlantis, Joyetech Delta II, and the SMOK VCT. Expect to see a price tag around $25 to $30.
