Innokin’s series of iSub tanks for sub ohm vapers has been made in 4 varieties. The original iSub is constructed from German polycarbonate (PC) the toughest and most modern version of this material.
Consumers were not all pleased with the iSub, preferring glass over the colorful varieties of PC available even though they are very appealing. Glass is sturdier against tank crackers and also neutral whereas there is always some doubt about synthetic materials like PC, especially at high temperatures.
The iSub G is made from glass. An Apex introduces Innokin’s “Prism” convection heating method. Finally, there is the Innokin iSub S.
Getting Closer to the Innokin iSub S
Perhaps the best thing for you about the iSub S will be that there won’t be any more need to fill from the bottom which is a messy way to replace e juice. When you turn a tank upside down it tends to leak, but not when you use the 4.5-ml iSub S. That’s one of many features vapers will enjoy including airflow control and unique style.

Coils for the iSub S
This large Innokin tank comes with regular sub ohm coils but a TC (temperature control) edition contains Ni200 coils which provide you with greater control of your vaping and are more efficient. You can’t run a TC mod without them. Ni200 coils burn down more slowly than Nichrome and Kanthal; they don’t give you dry hits, and they hold their temperature more efficiently too. Regular iSub coils are compatible with the iSub S.
Innokin supplies 0.5-ohm Clapton Bottom Vertical Coils which are known to create excellent vapor, fantastic flavor, and to cope extremely well with thick sub ohm e liquids. They don’t clog easily.
Maximizing Materials
Innokin switched from PC to glass, providing build-quality and superior flavor in a customer-preferred form. The tube is made from Pyrex while top and bottom caps are constructed from 100% stainless steel, meaning they will not corrode and are extremely durable. Inside the coil head, Innokin has used the best cotton: Japanese organic cotton, to be precise. Vapor and e juice flavor are cleaner when you apply this top-notch material as opposed to cheaper cotton.
The iSub S drip tip is lined with Delrin so as to prevent heat loss at the mouth but not burn the user as he puts his lips around this portion. The drip tip comes off so you can really clean the iSub S or to replace it with something you like more.
Appealing Design
Innokin made a slight adjustment to the usual straight lines of sub ohm tanks. Slanted bands of stainless steel are set at intervals around the exterior protecting your glass tube. These thick diagonal lines add a sense of energy and some additional flare to the appearance of your tank without hiding the juice. Add the black drip tip in place of stainless steel if you are feeling really daring.
