Kanger’s latest innovation is known as the DRIPBOX, only available for pre-order at the moment.

If you dislike the inconvenience of dripping but like the effect, this is the mod for you. Kanger is offering them in black, red, and white.

A Dripmod resembles the Subox and Kbox, other high-performance mod by vaping superstars Kangertech.

Design Difference

A bottle of e juice is contained with the vape mod which you simply squeeze into your tank from below. This way you get the wick wet whenever you need a drip but you do not have to hold a bottle over your RDA, take off the mouthpiece, etc.

This is so much simpler and a great way to continue creating the clouds you have dreamed of. Feed wicks directly from the bottom so they always get saturated and don’t even think about refilling the tank: it’s all taken care of. The tank is not incorporated into the mod as with an Nebox but is removable and replaceable.

In the Kit

Kanger DRIPBOX Starter Kit White

A Kanger DRIPBOX starter kit contains the Dripmod with its built-in bottle, accessed through a cut-away portion at the base. The mod is powered by one 18650 cell. It comes with a Subdrip RDA with adjustable airflow and a cap you can change over as you wish.

You also get a pre-built deck with a 0.2-ohm dual coil build which can be purchased independently or you can build your own coils RDA-style. Right now it doesn’t look as though the Subdrip is available separately. Kanger makes them in white, red, and black to match the DRIPBOX.

Technical and Design Features of the Kanger DRIPBOX

A DRIPBOX e juice bottle will hold up to 7 ml of e liquid. Since it is designed with drippers in mind, select something thick and luscious, like a custard style of e liquid by one of the gourmet vapor juice companies operating around the United States.

The battery is not included, so you can recharge the cell while installing a freshly recharged battery. This makes the Kanger DRIPBOX completely wireless as opposed to those with built-in batteries that have to be recharged using a USB port and cable.

Top output is 60 watts, not adjustable, but various elements will control the flavor and temperature of your vapor such as the coil and how long your mod is turned on; how long your draw is, airflow, and choice of e juice. The 510 atomizer connection allows vapers to change the tank too, so a different style of RTA could also change flavor and performance. This is not a TC mod.

Your two-post RDA is not a tank: there is no glass, no “capacity,” but a chuff cap with wide bore vapor release in order to create big fluffy clouds. The mouthpiece is black as is the single button on your DRIPBOX.

While little has been written about the DRIPBOX starter kit, it appears that a single light indicates how much battery power remains to continue operating your system. There is no screen on this relatively simple mod.

It looks as though retailers are charging just $25 to $35 for the kit, the lower price available to customers quoting an online coupon code. Take advantage if you like the squeeze-bottle idea and a simpler machine with fewer buttons than usual.

Missing Component

One thing missing from description is safety. Is the Kanger Dripmod protected from a short circuit, low resistance, reverse battery polarity, and the usual collection of potential disasters? Consumers might wish to wait for more information to be released on this topic rather than making assumptions.

Alternatives to the DRIPBOX

In the meantime, Kanger makes some fine products featuring similar styling and user-friendly qualities. The KBox, Subox, Subvod, and Nebox all spring to mind and each one is available as a starter kit from Kanger-authorized retailers all over the country.
