Clapton coils are all the rage for use with sub ohm vaporizers like the Tesla Invader III, Sigelei Spark, and SMOK R200. Some clever person discovered that a complicated wrap of this kind creates a lot of surface area for e juice and, consequently, supreme amounts of vapor.
The result is that any new tank worth its weight in stainless steel comes with Clapton coils and replacements for previously released systems now include a Clapton version.

First Clapton RDA
This is the first Rebuildable Dripping atomizer to be associated directly with a Clapton coil. The Tesla Clapton comes in black or silver, either of which would dominate the build since that Pyrex portion is so short. Cover the tube with a metal sleeve or leave it open. Airflow control situated in the bottom allows for huge variations while the top features a big drip tip in the shape of a crater, but not as wide as the Moonshot. This can be pulled off in order to refill the Clapton RDA, and when in place it provides a smooth fit for your mouth. The 10-mm opening is wide to make room for clouds of vapor.
Extras
Inside you will find the build designed to prevent spitback and leakage, two common issues with tanks. This is built into the top cap in the form of posts and holes which allow vapor through but keep e juice out of your mouth. You might also become aware of the special finish on your tank; a Vacuum UV coating so the tank doesn’t scratch.
Each Clapton RDA arrives with assorted extra pieces like two Clapton coils already built for you, a screwdriver, O-rings, and a few more screws. These last two are the kinds of things a person easily loses, so keep everything in the handy presentation box when it’s not in use.
