I thought the Vaporesso would make espresso and Americanos until I took a closer look at the name. It’s a 75W vape mod, not a coffee maker. Should I be disappointed? Well, I like coffee, but when I want a different stimulant (nicotine) coffee just won’t do. I need a vape mod and this could be my mod of choice.

Vaporesso Target 75W VTC Kit

The Vaporesso Kit is a mod plus tank, so I don’t have to think about picking a compatible RTA or RDA. I like it when vendors or manufacturers take away any element of thought or work I might have to put into a purchase. There are already too many choices. This way I buy a unit that’s ready to go instead of closing my eyes and pointing at a tank when I can’t choose.

Unusual Design

The Vaporesso Target 75W appears to be styled after a gun or a joystick. I guess that’s where “target” comes from. The power button is clicky, like the sort you find on a video game joystick. The screen located below this button is raised and beneath that are two smaller buttons. A USB port is last in the lineup along one side of this slender but long mod.

Vapers can choose from 5 colors: white, silver, black, pink, or purple. The last two feature matching buttons; the black is fitted with a red button and there are black firing buttons for the other two. If those small stylistic issues matter to you, then take note of colors and contrasts. The screen is big and bright, so you might not mind the larger length.

Mod Specifications

The new 75-watt Vaporesso gives me a reasonable wattage range for high-level or moderate vaping. I’m not obliged to use up as much battery power or e juice at 75W as I would be with a 200W machine and, of course, there is always the option to go lower.

Temperature range is 150C to 315C or 300F to 600F with an atomizer resistance as low as 0.15 ohms. I can build coils this low or apply a tank with pre-built Ni200 or Titanium coils. Few portable vaporizers are larger than this 92-mm device, but that is not as big as it sounds: palm-sized really. I need an 18650 cell too because this is not included in the kit: that adds about $10 to $15 to a bill of $75 or so for a total of about $90.

Tank Profile

The tank for my Vaporesso measures 22 mm wide: about right for most cylindrical mods and ideal for many other small units like the iStick 40W. Your tank is 3.5 ml: medium-sized, and it contains a cCell coil which does not spit. Its longevity is commendable.

The cCell is a ceramic, no-wick coil: a 0.2-ohm coil made from high-grade nickel or a Kanthal, 0.9-ohm coil. The latter is already installed in your tank. Since this is a VTC mod, I have the option to run in temperature control mode which means I have to use the Ni200 coil. You will notice that the matching black tank is set up with red O-rings to match the firing button and this is the only one with color-contrast O-rings in the lineup.

Purchase the Set

The kit contains a Target tank, cCell coils, the 75W VTC Target Mod, a USB cable for recharging your battery (or you can take it out and use an independent charger), and manual. You don’t need a cleaning kit as the product is self-cleaning, but dismantling the atomizer periodically for a thorough clean is advisable. Another advantage of owning this mod is that you won’t encounter dry hits, although you find this to be true of most temperature control vape mods since their coils burn slowly.
