Yes, vapers, you have heard of the company that makes the new CCI Triforce SubOhm tank. They used to be Trifecta. Now the name rings a bell, right? Triforce makes their CCI tank for cloud chasers in particular. Take a look at what the tank has to offer.

Two Cap Colors

There are two color options: stainless steel with black or all black, but the latter edition is known as the Executive Edition and costs $5 more than the usual $45. This costlier version is black all the way through the center whereas the stainless steel edition is stainless steel down the middle. They both feature red O-rings for contrast and to mitigate their industrial appearance.

Elements of the Tank

Being a sub ohm tank, you can probably predict some of the features of the CCI Triforce before I list them. One is airflow control, of course: you can’t even call a tank “sub ohm” or “advanced” if it doesn’t have that. Another part of design that is becoming increasingly common is the top-fill option which saves a lot of mess. Actually, Triforce makes things interesting: customers can choose to fill from the bottom or the top.

Vertical coils are already built for your convenience. There is no RBA deck with the original purchase. After buying the CCI tank, however, make it more flexible by purchasing additional equipment like a rebuild deck.

Flexible Connection

Like most advanced tanks, this one features a 510 connection, so it fits most mods. The copper positive pin is both highly connective and extra-long. That way you will not experience a short when you are using a dual-mode (regulated and mechanical) vape mod.

Innovative Spacer

A spacer built into the tank supposedly prevents heat from the atomizer from causing the mod to overheat as well. If you have ever suspected your atomizer of contributing to this problem, it should now be a non-issue.

Pyrex Tube

The CCI SubOhm Tank by Triforce is a Pyrex tank which means you can use any type of e liquid and it won’t crack or cloud. Pyrex is more vulnerable than the modern polycarbonate (PC) coming out of Germany, but consumers have spoken: they prefer toughened glass over plastic. There are few PC options out there (the Innokin iSub) and even its many color options did not cause the iSub to overtake Pyrex possibilities.

In the Box

Your CCI Triforce SubOhm tank will arrive with a wide bore top cap made from Delrin, an insulating material. This prevents heat loss and also burning your lips on very hot e juice vapor. Those pre-built coils are made from Kanthal and Ni200, respectively, so you can prepare to use a Temperature Control mod at 0.1 ohms resistance or a Variable Watt device, selecting resistance of 0.2 ohms or more. The recommended wattage limit is 100W. Vendors mention spare parts which are actually just extra O-rings, but they are handier than you might imagine.

Reviews of the CCI Triforce SubOhm Tank

Reviews indicate that vapers need to hit 70 watts or more to really produce vapor, at which point clouds are pretty thick. In other words, don’t pair the CCI with an iStick 40W or a Cool Fire IV; try an IPV D3 or a Tesla 80W, for example. It would also look aesthetically complementary on the Smok XCube Mini 75W, but not a pink, purple, or ceramic-coated mod.
