The Trident breaks that mold. This mod is more like a very classy cigarette lighter and not much larger either. You could compare it with the Aspire Pegasus, another classy device. The Council of Vapor Trident 60W mod features a special battery loading platform allowing you to take the shell and core apart to get at the battery.
Mid-Level Power
There are three settings: soft, standard, or full power. Rather than selecting a value between 7W and 60W, choose one of the three “curves” as Council of Vapor calls them. In the highest setting using a suitable coil build this mod can support a minimum of 0.2 ohms resistance.
Memory Magic
After using a device for a while with a particular atomizer and style of e juice, you establish a routine. A certain wattage suits this e juice plus a particular tank or RDA but a different tank/RDA and another e juice are more flavorful in a different setting, at least in your opinion, and that is the only opinion that matters. Delicious Design
Council of Vapor’s 60W mod is a narrow device and only requires one removable 18650-rated battery which you will have to add to your purchase. The top has been rubberized but the shell is made from a lightweight zinc alloy. The two come apart and are held together with magnets, but it’s not like removing a door; more like dividing the box into its core and protective cover.

Definitive Display
The shell is punched through with openings for buttons and a rectangular LED screen divided into 3 lines of text shows your watts, volts, resistance, and the life of your battery charge. The power button sits above this display and is all one large, stainless steel piece. The two adjustment buttons are just small black switches under the Trident’s screen, above a USB port. These smaller buttons are covered in stainless steel when the shell is added.
Spring-loading
A 510, adjustable threading well allows you to attach any 60W-compatible tank from the makers of classic and new sub ohm tanks like Kanger, Horizon, Sense, and Aspire. Silver plating produces reliable conduction.
One vendor recommends the Mini Vengeance Tank. This accessory measures 22 mm and contains quad airflow control slots. Topped by a wide bore tip, this is a BVC tank compatible with 0.2-ohm coils made from Pyrex and stainless steel. The Mini Vengeance Tank was also made by Council of Vapor and its name suits the style.
There’s a heavy-metal feel to it and a compatible resistance/wattage range but not the same shade of metal as the box mod, so there will be a visual contrast. The tank costs about $35 while the Council of Vapors Trident 60W mod is priced around $50 to $60.
