The AIO comes in three styles which are essentially three sizes:
• the original AIO
• the D22
• and the D16
Joyetech’s original eGo AIO (all-in-one) e cig measures 19 mm across and 118.05 mm long. The D16 is 16.5 mm wide and 158 mm long. Their D22 starter kit contains a 22 mm-wide device which is just 106.5 mm in length.
Ah: they become shorter as the width grows, which is probably why other parameters such as e juice capacity and battery capacity remain the same. As for eGos as you formerly knew them, like the eGo-C or eGo-T, the only thing they share in common is their simplicity.
Standard AIO Elements
A Joye eGo AIO is an all-in-one vape mod of the pen or tube style. This means a customer does not have to purchase a separate atomizer tank or even look for a suitable pairing from Joye: they just buy the AIO and it is all right there. In fact, you don’t have a choice. No other tank will work here.
Here are some things to consider when you think about buying any AIO. Each one is a top-fill device. The tank is visible through a roughly triangular window which is quite large. There are several parts that come away from each other such as the atomizer head, top cap, and mouthpiece. Vapers are able to fully clean their AIO and replace the coil as needed.
Each device comes with a customizable LED light which is so much fun. There are lots of colors to choose from besides the usual red, white, and blue.
The Joyetech eGo AIO D22
What about the D22 as opposed to an original or the D16? Here is the scoop: they are all very much the same except for dimensions and colors. A 19-mm AIO sports different hues from the other two, both of which offer orange and blue besides standard shades.
Each one is a single-button device like any ordinary eGo, but Joye supplies vapers with more power and a sub ohm coil. Airflow can be adjusted for Direct-to-Lung or Mouth-to-Lung vaping. You’re not given an assortment of coil choices for the tank.
The AIO D22 Kit
Starter sets come with everything needed to get started, although most of that is in the eGo AIO D22 itself. This includes a 1500mAh built-in battery, 2-ml tank, and a 0.6-ohm coil head. The D22 is widest but shortest of them all with the same cup-style reservoir to avoid leaks.
A child lock on the atomizer cap keeps kids out and prevents unintentional emptying of your gourmet e juice. The AIO is a USB-charged device and a mini charging port is situated opposite the power button. The cable for this job is packaged with each kit.
Who is the AIO for? It’s for anyone who ever wanted to try more powerful vaping without the addition of extra buttons; someone who dislikes the middle seam on their usual e cig kit; and the vaper who likes a tube-style mod.
Caveat
Don’t try to use the D22 or any AIO as a Variable Temp mod. It’s not for that sort of thing but for easy sub ohm vaping without any ability to regulate the unit. TC coils aren’t made for the AIO line. Any AIO by Joyetech contains a smart chip which protects the device against overcharge, over-current, or over-discharge.
