SMOK’s sweet spot seems to be around 80 watts. They have created several vape mods with a top value of 80W like the M80, their Quantum, and now the Koopor 80W.

Even though you can also purchase an R200 from SMOK, this Chinese vaping company has built a kit with another 80W kit with the ornate Koopor mod at its center and that’s what we’re going to talk about below.

Behold, the Valiant Knight

Each Koopor 80W bears the image of a medieval dragon or griffin; something that blows fire and smoke, anyway, and the beast your mod is set to vanquish. Select armor colored white, orange, gray, or silver.

I am pretty sure orange was never a shade you wanted for armor because that would have signified rust, but we’re not at King Arthur’s court. Orange signifies fire here and it’s not a garish neon shade either but restrained and classy. The RBA tank will match.

Metal Frame for Vaping Warfare

Medieval armor made from iron, steel, and leather was heavy to wear and difficult to breach. The Koopor is tough, but not nearly as heavy in spite of its durable appearance. The challenge for vapers isn’t conquering lands and expanding kingdoms but creating thick vapor; a subtle challenge enacted on a small scale.

A zinc alloy not known 500 years ago provides solid support for every part of the machine but creates a lightweight product. With the helmet atomizer, the entire kit weighs less than half a pound which is nothing; you won’t notice the extra in a purse or bag full of papers, make-up, money, etc.

Dimensions That Won’t Intimidate

Nor will the size of SMOK’s Koopor 80W Knight Kit be an issue for finding space within regular daily luggage. The mod measures 81.5 mm long with a width of 43 mm and a depth of 24.5; it fits neatly where you want it. The Helmet Atomizer, 24.5 mm in diameter, holds up to 2 ml of e juice.

Capacity and Configuration

The 2600mAh battery inside your 80W Koopor mod powers a system capable of 1 to 80 watts or up to 600F. SMOK’s vaping machine is able to support coil resistance of 0.1 ohms in variable wattage mode or as little as 0.06 ohms when your device is set up for temperature control vaping.

Helmet Atomizer

The SMOK Knight Kit is impressive when fully dressed-up, tank and mod together, but the Helmet Atomizer deserves the spotlight too. For a start, SMOK devised a childproof design. Like a bottle of painkillers, the lid must be pressed and turned to open so kids can’t just turn the top and gain access to sweet-looking e juice which, if it contains nicotine, is poisonous to a curious child.

An insulated mouthpiece is part of the top cap which vapers remove to refill e juice. The e liquid level can be viewed through a visor-like window made of glass. Its shape when all parts are in place really does resemble the helmet of a warrior’s outfit.

That mouthpiece is unusual in that it’s wide at the base tapering to a slightly narrower peak, unlike the straight lines of most mod mouthpieces. Airflow is adjusted at the top, a new trend in atomizer builds.

Not a Quantum

This is not the Quantum 80W with a different picture on the frame; the Koopor is operated differently. The battery inside is accessed by a sliding magnetic door. There’s no discrete power switch under the door or a panel to press in order to operate the Koopor 80W.

Press a circular power button to switch the device on and choose higher or lower watts/temperature using smaller buttons above the USB port. A 0.91-inch OLED screen presents a highly visible picture of how your mod is working. It will show you watts, volts, temperature, resistance, battery power, and safety alerts if they apply.
