The people at VapeDynamics make vaporizers that work with herbs, oils, and concentrates. They are not new to this business but have started to promote something new from their R&D department.
This month they have listed what they refer to as a World’s First - the VapeDynamics Duo or Dual-Mode vaporizer, available for pre-order right now.
Dual-Mode Vaporizer

What’s that you ask? Isn’t there such a thing as a three-in-one vape, plus the Haze dual chamber mod? Can VapeDynamics really refer to their Duo as a first? Let’s take a closer look; maybe there’s more to this device than meets the eye.
Eye of the Beholder
At first glance this is like no herbal vaporizer I have seen, although it resembles a lot of e liquid mods out there. The Duo adopts the same shape as an Eleaf iStick 100W TC with its rounded sides. It boasts a large, clear screen like vape mods for e juices. The Duo is controlled by a chipset, threaded for compatibility with 510 tanks, and measurements are about as compact as those for mods at 3.5 inches in length. It’s wireless and portable like a good mod should be. How is the Duo different?
VapeDynamics Duo Difference
Firstly, this is a device for herbs and liquids/wax, not an e liquid vaporizer. Then again, a Sigelei 213TC and their 200W Fuchai could both be used with herbal, wax, or oil cartridges, but they are not made for those materials or at least not advertised as mods for use with anything except e juice.
Use the Temperature Control setting on a Duo when using liquids or concentrates or regular mode for herbs. We will look more deeply at what that means besides the ability to set values precisely using a digital interface.
Regular Mode and Temperature Control
As with e juice devices, regular mode refers to the variable watt setting. In this mode, temperatures are controlled by the microprocessor and are not allowed to get past a certain point in order to maintain safety.
As for temperature control, that’s an old idea in the world of portable vaporizers. When given any adjustment options at all, this is the one: how much heat is required to vaporize a material? What layer do you wish to expose amidst the many dimensions of a multi-layered flavor? Herbs respond best to lower heats (around 400F or lower) but concentrates and waxes both withstand and prefer the higher levels.
When you switch to the TC setting, wattage is controlled for you automatically and adjusted in order to help you achieve and then sustain a given temperature. In the world of Sigelei, Innokin, and Kanger, the limit is about 600F.
As with these brands and their TC-capable units, to choose this setting requires thinking ahead and buying a tank that is compatible with temperature-sensitive coils. The microprocessor won’t operate in this mode if you are not using Titanium or Nickel 200. It will just sit there and do nothing with a warning on the screen.
VapeDynamics Tank
TheCeraWax Companion Tank is also available from VapeDynamics. They call it the best partnership if you vape with wax. Universal threading for sub ohm, rebuildable tanks gives you a lot of choices, but this company believes the CeraWax Tank outperforms them with its wickless design and 600F capacity.
They supply an oven made from reinforced ceramics which means the material is neutral and will not affect vapor flavor. Ceramics are also sturdy.
Rechargeable Two Ways
The Duo supplies dual charging choices too. This rechargeable system works with removable high-drain batteries for charging externally or internally by plugging in the USB cable.
The former option is quicker but leaving them in place is convenient if you can walk away for a little while to await the charge. While they’re in their place, batteries can become very hot. This is particularly true if you vape for a long time and at high levels.
During this time, stressed batteries are at risk of overheating, but VapeDynamics designed their mod to let out heat constantly through several vents lined up parallel to each other left of the display face and control buttons. A power button is located to their right.
Last Words on the VapeDynamics Duo
Vapers are just pressing two buttons to adjust settings while the OLED screen displays these settings plus the battery’s charge state. Buy one colored titanium silver, diamond white, Titanium Silver, or sapphire black.

Please provide correct information
“Then again, a Sigelei 213TC and their 200W Fuchai could both be used with herbal, wax, or oil cartridges”
This statement is NOT TRUE. Heating any heating element by such mods does not make your vaporizer as DRY HERB vaporizer.. There are huge design differences between a wattage mod and a dry herb vaporizer in technology.
1-) Such mods are only capable of providing instant power to heat up your heating element (mainly market as Herbal attachments); Also known as Wattage mode.
2-) Such mods aren’t capable of consistently regulating the heating element temperature to keep the heat inside a ceramic chamber at ideal temperature to provide pure vapor.. (Temperature Control for Dry Herb)
Your statement is more like — i have a glass pipe i can use torch and use it as herbal vaporizer..
TRUE herbal vaporizers provide consistent and regulated power to heat up the chamber at a perfect temperature for vaporizing . Any electronic cigarette capable of any wattage output is not capable of the same technology of a TRUE herbal vaporizer is as far as consistently regulating high temperatures inside of a built-in ceramic chamber. These kind of features are executed by special designed micro processor built in the device…
Best!
