With its slender profile and humble design, the Heatvape Defender might look like a wimp at first glance. It displays no airs about its superiority. Like all classy items, you will only find out how great this device is when you see it in action. Lots of mods are all talk, really showy, but the Heatvape Defender lets its inner qualities do the talking.

Built-in Battery

A 2600-mAh cell keeps the Defender operating for hour after hour even at 36W, though you probably won’t keep settings that high all the time. This would be a dangerous error and leaves your mod prone to overheating.

Since the battery is built into your case and can’t be removed for recharging, there is a small USB charging port built into the Defender as well. Plug the cord provided between your mod and the computer you are working at, allowing you to keep an eye on the charge level.

Power Play

Set the Defender at between 5 and 36 watts or 1 to 8 volts: it’s up to you whether to play it old-school and use the volt/ohms chart or select watts and let the microchip do that for you. You can go as low as 0.3 ohms: great if your tank is a sub-ohm RTA like the Delta II, Herakles, or Lemo Drop.

You can blow some stupendous clouds of vapor with a setting like that if you are choosing excellent e juice for the job. There are loads of excellent e liquids containing at least 50% vegetable glycerin or creamy flavoring styles that suit vapor chasing adventures.

Special Connection

Are you seeking that one special connection in life? At Heatvape, they don’t wait for the right one to come along; instead, the designers of this stealthy little mod make it possible for their device to connect easily with eGo and 510-threaded atomizers. You can thank their patented 2-sided connector thread for this convenience.

Buttoned Up

Orientation of switches is traditional, lining buttons up along one narrow side. The top button is round while + and — signs feature on a two-sided switch. Presentation is classy and uncluttered. Why mess around with a winning style after all?

Select a Shade

While you are gawping at this lovely regulated vaping device, do not forget to select a color. Heatvape makes the Defender in pink, black, black & silver, blue, and silver. The Heatvape EcoTank will look great with any of these shades. The EcoTank features a stainless steel cover to protect its Pyrex tank. Inside, you will find organic cotton coils or optional Ni200 coils and adjustments for airflow and e liquid.

Another HeatVape Machine

Is the 36-watt limit too low for your taste? Maybe you have an exterior design in mind with more tactile appeal.

In this case, the Heatvape Invader Mini is perfect. It’s made from zinc alloy, brass, and silicon and feels great between your fingers. The maximum wattage limit is 50W but there’s another choice: go for temperature control (TC) mode and set the temperature up to 600F. While using Ni200 coils, it’s possible to attach an atomizer ready for 0.1 ohms in TC mode.

The EcoTank would make a fine addition to this uniquely-textured product with a small screen, removable battery, and waterproof exterior which makes it a good choice for active vapers. The gap-free threading design is another plus, enabling users to add almost any atomizer they choose without leaving an untidy space.
